This past summer, we had a few scorching hot days toward the middle of August. So we put the barn hose on mist . Then we could mist the horses (even in their stalls!) and slather them in Cucumber Splash!
The Recipe:
1 chopped cucumber
1/4 cup witch hazel
1/4 cup rose water
1 teaspoon of aloe vera
Blend cucumber, witch hazel, and rose water. Then strain. Mix in aloe vera.
Store in refrigerator.
And we all got to take a bottle home for ourselves! ^_^
